2014 RHS Athletic Hall of Fame Honorees

 

Coach:

  • John J. Bauer, Sr. – Football; Coach Bauer coached six State Champion teams including a record four consecutive titles; led the Rams for a state record 47-game undefeated streak

 

Contributor:

  • Williard “Woddy” Hedden – BOE (Board President & Member); Mr. Hedden established the Randolph Midget Football Program

 

Male Athlete(s):

  • Nathaniel Aiken (1977-1981); All State performer in Basketball and Spring Track; still holds the Long Jump record for RHS (set in 1981)

  • Gregory Surenian (1966-1969); Two time State Wrestling Champion (1968, 1969)

 

Female Athletes:

  • Rena Antanelis (1977-1981); All State in Winter & Spring Track for three years; 1981 National Javelin Champion; 16 state championships in Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin

  • Laura Kerrigan (1981-1984); Soccer, Basketball, and Softball.  NJ High School Athlete of the Year 1985; all-time career soccer goal scorer for RHS 

 

Boys Team:

  • Football Team (1990); Undefeated 10-0 season culminating in “The Game”, a 22-21 last-second state championship victory over Montclair that extended the team unbeaten streak to 49 games

Girls Team:

  • Football Team (1990); Undefeated 10-0 season culminating in “The Game”, a 22-21 last-second state championship victory over Montclair that extended the team unbeaten streak to 49 games

  • Girls Soccer Team (1995); Undefeated State Champions; ranked Number one in the country by USA National Soccer Coaches Association
